VM-2 is an automatic weighing system approved for trade and law-enforcement checking of wheel, axle and overall load of vehicles. Their unique "double bridge" design allows to check even the load side unbalance - fundamental parameter for road safety. This can't be checked on common "single bridge" weighing systems as for example VM-1. Extremely robust weighbridge VM-2 was designed especially for sites with heavy traffic - for customs, highway entries and toll payload sites. Robust design and advancew wighing technology allows to use this weighbridge as LSWIM system up to 16 km/h speed or even in HSWIM mode up to 50 km/h
Velmi robustní typ VM-2 byl konstruován se zřetelem na potřebu kontrolovat zatížení velkého množství rychle jedoucích vozidel ve vjezdech na dálnice, u bran na výběr elektronického mýta, v ČR jako součást vážicích stanic na hraničních přechodech. Dnes nachází uplatnění především v logistických centrech, kde rychlost přejezdu vozidla přes váhy nepřekračuje 50 km/h.
The prefabricated base shown on picture is another difference in VM-2 design. The concrete base carrying two steel metal-coated weighbridges improves reliability in heavy operating and climatic conditions, ensures precise positioning and levelling to the approach road, reduces installation costs. Higher vehicle drive over speed is also achieved by this technical solution.
Evaluation unit connected with PC contains also software modified upon user request and makes the work of the operator very easy. User friendly software does not only control the weighing process, but also records all the data and performs vehicle analysis for assessing overload penalties and further reporting. VM-2 system can be connected to computer network or computerised information system.
