Company history, present and future

Company TENZOVAHY - established 1991 - is a private owned technology company engaged in the development, production and installation of wide range products for vehicle weighing and traffic monitoring. In comparison with wide range scale producers, Tenzováhy s.r.o. are focused mainly on weigh-in-motion products. Our engineers can be count among the founders of weigh-in-motion technology in the Central Europe.

Our first product - wheel and axle weigher VM-2 was launched in 1988 and later successfully approved. Its unique "double bridge" design and rigid concrete base meets requirements for heavy-duty use. This product is aimed to law enforcement purposes on state boundaries and highway toll-gates. Through the years we became the major supplier of weighing systems for the Czech state authoritioes Our products are in daily use on state borders to Germany, Poland and to Slovak Republic (see our reference map).

We keep on co-operation with state authorities - with Ministry of Transportation, with Custom Head Office, with Highway Head Office, with Police and also with local authorities.

Portable system for random weighing PW-10 has been approved by Metrology institute and is being used for random load checking and also for law enforcement by Police and by Road Maintenance Authority

Axle weigher for trade use - VM-1 has been launched and approved since 1996
Seasonal weighing system VMP-2 has been lunched for customers who demands mobility and low installlation costs
System for high speed weighing (HSWIM) has been successfully installed on Czech Highways D1 and D8

Extensive research and development and using latest technologies allow us to provide more complex custom designed solutions to our customers. Growing share of our activities takes advanced data management and various traffic analysis - we are acting in several research projects bringing the latest traffic technologies into everyday life.
